The Black Affairs Advisory Council (BAAC) has launched a new initiative as an expansion of the Marrow Donor Program. This initiative is the “National Minority Health Initiative (NMHI)” and focuses on health awareness, prevention, and promotion.
The success or failure of any government in the final analysis must be measured by the well-being of its citizens. Nothing can be more important to a state than its public health; the state’s paramount concern should be the health of its people.

To assist the Agency with its educational efforts, BAAC is committed to a “COMMUNITY OUTREACH Initiative.” This initiative will use BAAC members as agents who can provide information about SSA programs to under served minority communities. Click here for more information.
